.438 Win Percentage

Carson Palmer's career win percentage is,.449 (and that's up to date - footballdb.com).

Palmer is one of the few career starters who has a losing winning percentage.. His stats look decent at the end of the day because he is usually playing from the rear. Carson has never been a game manager, and why Raider fans keep taking up for this guy is somewhat of a mystery to me.

We should start Pryor for the rest of the season, just like the Eagles are starting Foles for the rest of the season.

As much as I hate to say this, and many people will disagree (plus no one ever admits to racism as a factor, go back 100 years & no one has admitted to it; maybe David Duke, or George Wallace).. as much as I hate to play this card, I do think the fact that TP is a black QB, there are many Raider fans, who may even be diehard fans, deep down inside, don't want to see a young, black QB starting in front of the great white hope that is Carson Palmer.

If Pryor were white, and had the same credentials at Ohio State (even though he didn't play that long, he was successful), had the same size, 6'6", ran the same 4.4 forty-yard time, and the Raiders had the same 3-9 record, he would probably be our signal-caller.

It's a darn shame that Raider fans would rather keep on losing than give the young man a chance.

Palmer stats since 2004...
  • 2004: 18 TDs, 18 INTs, 2 fumbles (13 games) .. Rushed for 47 yards
  • 2005: 32 TDs, 12 INTs, 4 fumbles (16 games) .. Rushed for 41 yards
  • 2006: 28 TDs, 13 INTs, 13 fumbles (16 games) .. Rushed for 37 yards
  • 2007: 26 TDs, 20 INTs, 4 fumbles (16 games) .. Rushed for 10 yards
  • 2008: 3 TDs, 4 INTs, 2 fumbles (4 games) .. Rushed for 38 yards
  • 2009: 21 TDs, 13 INTs, 3 fumbles (16 games) .. Rushed for 93 yards
  • 2010: 26 TDs, 20 INTs, 3 fumbles (16 games) .. Rushed for 50 yards
  • 2011: 13 TDs, 16 INTs, 1 fumble (10 games) .. Rushed for 20 yards
  • 2012: 20 TDs, 13 INTs, 4 fumbles, (12 games) .. Rushed for 33 yards
Not only does he have a slew on INTs but they usually come at the worst time in the game. Many of his TDs are garbage TDs, coming after the game has already been decided.
