Khalil Mack is a Force to Reckon With

Khalil Mack is unblock-able. PERIOD. Last season, he wreaked havoc on opposing offenses at the linebacker position, this season (2015) he's been moved to the defensive end position.

Initially, I thought it might be a mistake, but judging from his performance against the Arizona Cardinals Sunday night, apparently, new defensive coordinator Ken Norton, Jr. and new head coach Jack Del Rio, know what they're doing.

My boys look pretty sharp but pre-season is pre-season and no way to judge how the team is going to perform once the regular season starts. I'm not really liking Carr's red-zone performance because we're kicking too many field goals, just like last season.

Wideouts Amari Cooper and Brice Butler look good; Crabtree hasn't come around but he showed what he's capable of when he was with the Niners.

If Derek Carr doesn't get his head out of his ass, we should go with Christian Ponder, who, in my opinion has actually looked a bit more poise under pressure than Carr. Throwing the pick-6 in the 3rd quarter, against Arizona's back ups - NOT GOOD!

D.J. Hayden is another Raider who is not carrying his weight. He'll make the team but he's been getting beat like a drum and when he's not getting toasted, he's been flagged for pass interference.

The first 5 weeks of the season are critical for the Silver and Black. Bengals, Ravens, at Cleveland, at Chicago, and the Broncos. We really need to be 4-1 at the bye, with momentum as we head to San Diego in week seven.
