Mack Attack in Denver!

OK, I was blogging while the game was in play, so I had to erase everything stated in the first half, as it was 12-0 at halftime and my boys were playing like CRAP!

So we're playing better in the second half, much better, especially defensively. The ageless-wonder and future first ballot hall-of-famer Charles Woodson, recovers another fumble, midway through the 3rd quarter after a strip from Ben Heeney (rookie from Kansas, who has been playing very well of late), but an ill-advise call on 3rd and inches resulted in a 12-yard loss on a sack by the Denver defense. Terrible call by the coaching staff; get the first down so you can at least get 3 points off the turnover (a FG makes the score - Raider 10, Broncos 12).

We need a defensive score to turn the momentum in this game. We got em' 3rd and 9 on their own 2-yard-line, make a play or get off the field, and we get the SAFETY!!! Khalil Mack with the strip on Brock Osweiler.

End of 3rd quarter, Raiders 9, Broncos 12. Let's go boys, we need to start matriculating up the field.

Jesus Christ, first play of the 4th, false start, 3rd and 15, short incomplete pass, punt. Sanders COUGHS up the pill - muffs the punt - RAIDERS BALL BABY!!!! And we are already in FG range at the Denver 11-yard-line but we need 6!!! 1st down, Carr throws the ball away, 2nd down, another false start - RIDICULOUS! Pass interference by Talib, not called on Amari Cooper. It's now 3rd down and 15. Michael Rivera TOUCH DOWN !!! 15-12, 3-pt lead, they FOOLISHLY go for 2, which means that Denver can tie the game with a FG.

That's not thinking on Del Rio's part! Must have flunked basic math? If that call comes back to cost the Raiders the game, I would FIRE Jack Del Rio.. Wow! That's almost like you're trying to lose. The analyst assumed that they went for 2 instead of 1 because the long snapper was injured on a previous special teams play, but that's no reason to go for two points, get someone else to snap the ball - geesh!

Khalil Mack is having a phenomenal day: 4 Tackles, 1 Assist, 3 Sacks, 1 Forced Fumble, and the Raider defense is playing lights out. Unfortunately, Cooper is being shutdown by Aqib Talib, the running game is non-existent, and Carr is having a rather shitty day.

We've dominated field possession in the 2nd half but the offense can't get anything going. The defense has taken over the 2nd half.

Here's the game winner: Khalil Mack... 6 tackles, 5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble that led to a safety! Raiders win 15-12.
