Pundits... Sleep on the Raiders

Max Kellerman of ESPN's First Take says the Chiefs are the "class of the NFL". Kellerman raved about the ability, the skills of Alex Smith.

Michael Vick said yesterday, about Alex Smith, pretty much what I've said, when he was asked would the Chiefs keep Alex Smith for next season (on a personal note, I'm glad the NFL appears to be looking out for Vick, despite others who still want to protest a crime that he has paid for and donated more money and time to PETA than most people would in 3 lifetimes, but I digress). Vick stated, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". You let Smith go for the "potential of a rookie", that would be a major mistake. One that Raider fans would love to see of course, but Andy Reid is not that stupid.

Stephen A. Smith says the Falcons are the class of the NFL. Guest analyst Donovan McNabb says the Patriots are still the class of the NFL.

Kellerman says the Raiders have not proved anything by beating the Titans and the Jets.

All I know is... we have 4 guys on offense that can go the distance anytime and from anywhere on the field: Jalen Richard (did it yesterday), Cordarelle Patterson (did it yesterday), Amari Cooper, and DeAndré Washington.

Once we get the lead, we close the door in the 4th quarter with "Beast Mode," coupled with a huge athletic O-line featuring: Donald Penn, 6'4" 340 lbs; Kelechi Osemele, 6'5" 330 lbs; Rodney Hudson, 6'0", 300 lbs; Gabe Jackson, 6'3" 336 lbs; and Marshall Newhouse, 6'4" 328 lbs.

Furthermore, let us not forget the brilliance of one Derek Dallas Carr, definitely picking up where he left off last year and then some. In 2 games he is 45-60, 75% completion percentage, 492 yards, 5 TDs, no INTs, and he releases the ball 1.91 seconds (quickest time in the NFL).
